    Back in 1993 I went to my one and only Cannes Film Festival and there was a guy in the marketplace selling this great print which I'm sure you've all seen.

    The Invitation by Renato Casaro. I had no idea who Renato was and I'm sorry to say I've only recently learnt of his reputation (through Once Upon A Time In Hollywood). I've subsequently found out he designed a lot of my favourite posters.



    I've been going through my collection recently and last night pulled it out from the top of the wardrobe to have a look at it, it was then that I realised it was signed by Renato himself and thinking back on it I remember that when I bought it the guy said he'd painted it. I'd bought a print from the great man himself and didn't realise it.



    I think I'll hang on to this one.
