  • How about three more umbrella featured film scenes then. There shouldn't be any problems I would have to think in identifying these well known films.

     C347  C348
     C349
  • C349 - an umbrella in the rain while someone is obviously singing and dancing in it....doesn't ring a bell.

  • Oh! C349 - Singin' In The Rain (1952)

I'll watch my Criterion BluRay on the weekend, need to start catching up on Classic films I've missed.
To catch up on viewing unseen classic films is always in my mind, but to actually do this doesn't always work out at the frequency of what I would like it to be.
I agree, I have so many film still in cellophane it's ridiculous! I like to try to aim for a couple each weekend, no time during the week. Usually something like and fluffy (musicals), and a drama or silent film. No point watching streaming services, they don't have the type of films I like.
I have heard excellent things about the Criterion people having a service where you can watch all their films online for a set price per month. If you have the time, and can watch a bunch each month, it is a wonderful deal. Sadly time is the one thing I have very little of.

Yes you are 100% correct. Sorry that I posted an incorrect image. My bad, and I don't know what happened there.

The film is Batman Returns though from 1992, so you named the film anyway.

I also had this image that I was tossing up in using. but ruled it out as I had thought it would have been too obvious.

  • C350 sure looks like the umbrella from the Ascott scene in My Fair Lady
