  • Not good...  The writing could be sanded and minimized, but most likely it would require touch-up from the front.  Dario might be able to add more - He did a GBU quad that had lots of writing on it and it came out spectacular.
  • I wish when I was bidding on this that Emovie would have taken pictures of the back though. After seeing all the writing on the back I might not have bid so much. In the description it did not say that there was excessive writing on the back. But whoever wrote on the back could spell anything right from the title to Vera Miles name.

Agree with this, I had a similar issue with a poster I won on HA, it had comment 'Tap on Verso' - what they should have said was 'some poster may be found on verso, in between the volume of tape' 8-|
  • It sucks but what do ya do. Well Emovie does offer that lifetime guarantee right :)
  • Bruce would take it back, for sure.  Just ask him - that is if you don't want to send it to Dario to get a magic show...
  • I am trying to figure out the cost to have it restored. I know it would look wonderful after it was restored.
  • Send it to Dario for a quote... No pressure from him.
  • I think if I sent it to him and he gave me the quote I would almost feel obligated to have him restore it lol. Not that I wouldn't want him to do it. He seems to be one of the best I have seen.
  • You don't have to send anything... Just send him pics of the front and back and ask for an estimate.  I once had him give me an estimate on a Star is Born insert and he sent back a quote...
  • Okay thank you for that Charlie. I will do that for sure. I will probably wait until I am completely done with school though. School is going to keep me very busy. I only have five weeks left and I will be done for good. I will have obtained my Masters degree. Good lord it has been a very long road.

    A Masters in...?
  • I have my Bachelors in Accounting. I will have my Masters in Business Administration.
  • Damn Randy, congrats...
  • Thank you David. It has been a long road. Been going to school since 2008. I am ready to be done. Not looking forward to paying student loans back though lol.

Just got this with a bunch of newish stuff, which will look quite the ticket framed and in the Cinema room..

I'll spare you the modern posters this being a Vintage poster forum.

  • Paul, Is the Mars Attacks a one sheet?
  • Yes Michael, it was used in a UK Cinema, before they changed to the white style versions over here.

    Cool Poster!
  • Is that what I think it is?  A THX 1138 Lenticular... Awesome!

ah I wish it was a lenticular. It is foil and rolled thankfully. Great shape and clean too

Heres emovies description for the 1978 rerelease.  http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/2016078.html

Figured it had to be worth the 50 with shipping and scooped it up the other day.
  • Love the Donnie Darko!  I need to replace my SS with a DS someday...
