Does anyone have a list of 14th Mandolin titles? I thought there was a thread about this somewhere but can't find it.
I think this tread is the only one that has appeared here on the forum specifically covering 14th Mandolin. I am unaware of any listings of film titles that this company released. The following film titles are 14th Mandolin daybill images that I have, images of,
Tanya Snow Job The Love Cycle The Devil's Garden Love Of a Nympho Midnight Plowboy So Young, so Lovely, So Vicious A Taste Of Decadence
I also have a Joey And The Dolphin daybill image. Although the daybill doesn't have a 14th Mandolin distributor credit printed on it this film was submitted to the Australian film censorship department by 14th Mandolin.
If you have time to search out the RC Refused Classification website you will find many other 14th Mandolin film titles mentioned there.
Tower Of Evil ( 1972 ), when submitted for re-release by 14th Mandolin. under the alternative title of Horror on Snape Island, it was classified on 35mm by the Australian censor in 1982
Love to see the 14th Mandolin daybill.
More on this subject to follow shortly on the Screaming Bone-Crushing Horror quiz shortly.
It would appear there will not have been a daybill of Horror on Snape Island printed, as it seems to have been released on video only.
The following is a Horror On Snape Island Dutch Pal VHS videotape credited as being from 1981. This is the year before the film was submitted by 14th Mandolin and classified by the Australian censor, thus further supporting the thinking that the film only had a video release under this title in Australia.

Really weird the way the title is presented. It looks like Horror Snape on Island!
It certainly would appear that 14th Mandolin mainly distributed sexploitation film titles in Australia.
Two titles that don't belong in this category that they released here in the 1980's were Madron (1970 ) a western movie and No Way Back ( 1976 ) an action crime drama. I have never sighted daybills for either of these two films.
The following information if you are unaware or it may be of interest. 14th Mandorin productions had a video distribution subsidiary, and one of the first in Australia. They operated between 1981 and 1985 focusing on martial arts films.
Five 14th Mandolin film releases that I had mentioned here on this thread in August 2023, No images were included then, so I thought I would include them here now. The remaining titles that were also listed at that time have been included here in the thread since then.
My thoughts regarding Joey And The Dolphin not having their name on the poster is that the company didn't want to associate this children's film with their usual sexploitation R rated product that they released.
