Yeah it's for praying to the tile gods that everything comes out straight. We took at least an hour drawing lines and trying to figure out where the first tiles would go. Interestingly the room was not square. One side being 1/2" (1.3 cm) wider than the other...
We picked out the tile for the studio side on Friday. It's an antique wood finish - long planks 3+ feet. I am going to do a herringbone pattern. It's going to rock! Then I can get the LB/Poster lair going again...
Ha!... Actually we got the first of three walls of cabinets in this past Sunday. The bitch of cabinets that I overlooked was leveling them up... I ended up buying a leveling system that you attached to the underneath of the cabinets that are super handy... But another week went by there too.
I'll snap some pictures. I am taking a couple of days off towards the end of the week to finish them off.
