Thanks Lawrence. Yes somewhat disappointing. The good aspect is that the Cinesound Movietone Productions films are preserved at the NFSA, but are not generally available - without a formal loan requests to NFSA.

Nice Research Lawrence.I love the 1934 version. I have the 1948 re-release version - and it was one of the first posters I purchased from Col Porter..Nice find!BTW - eBay has a couple of Ken G. Hall Australian heralds for sale. Look up under "Dad and Dave" and "Ken G. Hall"...Yes - so true. We should have ordered in bulk Thanks Lawrence. I haven't heard of it before.
