Is the daybill for this title as scarce as I would imagine? I don't see it show up in Bruce's or Heritage's archives.
-
Heritage has that Akira in a current auction. 10 days to go, bid right now is $550.
-
Hopefully the excitement of my first two return posts has subsided a bit. With what I'm sure is significant mania caused by my carefully chosen and curated works of art, I don't want to challenge your collective fragile personal constitutions any mo…

Who would have such sketchy morals and personal taste that they'd collect exploitation and sexploitation stuff??
Oh, wait.
Excellent purchase! Nicely curated. Whatever the Argentine equivalent is to the US Library of Congress, … -
I was up earlier than I would’ve liked, but you’re 3 hours earlier than me. That’s WAY the fark too early.
-
Thanks! It's waaaaaaay to early for you to be awake looking at this nonsense. Go back to bed!

Allrighty, it's time to post another round of recent acquisitions. Will this be as grippingly exciting as the last batch? Sadly no, but we'll forge ahead nonetheless.
As with so many other posters and genres I'm no expert on, I was unawar… -
Another nicely curated batch covering the spectrum o' cinematic wonders. The Moonlighter unsurprisingly is a favorite, and I don't think I've ever seen the poster for the original Herbie. Groovy.
-
Holy wow, Batman! That one's AWESOME!
Cripes, looks like I'm back on the deadly sins list with envy.
-
Thanks, MAGG. Yeah, Hannah Lee is one that doesn't pop up often, and Silver Lode is another. I just checked the 3D film archive website, and they have Silver Lode listed as one that was supposed to be 3D, but it didn't happen. I probably shouldn't h…

Looks like it's been mid-July since I posted anything, so for the handful of members and lurkers that enjoy the kind of drivel I buy, I figured it prudent to at least get caught up with recent acquisitions. There's quite a few, so I'll just post 'em…

Great stuff! Now that you've teased us, we need more, moRE MORE!!
-
(Quote) Well, it's about time, captain slacker!

That's a pretty generous slice of awesome! I wonder how many posters for animated Disney features have/had Walt's mug on 'em? Not many, I'd wager.
-
Love it! Looks (looked) fantastic! Keep those pics coming!
-
Yowza! Great stuff!
-
Thanks, gang. A couple of them are fairly popular US titles and pretty familiar, but the titles according to the seller are (in order): Nudist Paradise, P..... Respectueuse, Grabenplatz 17, Strasse, Hell Drivers, Reform School Girl, and Girls on the…

McQueen! Great stuff! Since other frames are visible in the pic, now we need a wider shot of the wall!
-
Beautiful and striking poster - congratulations! With all the McCarthy-like stuff going on in this country right now, that poster seems very timely.
-
Good afternoon gang, I hope today finds everyone still safe, well and healthy (and hopefully happy) despite society crumbling around us. These have been on a journey across the pond for a while, so I just now had a chance to snap some pictures. In a…

Those would all look GREAT in your house as a theme. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??
-
Oh, no doubt. I wasn't trying to be a downer with regards to what happened to Dennis. This is just the kinda stuff I think of in terms of posters for animated features.

Here are the pics I saved from NS4 with (some of?) Drak's posters for animated stuff:

I don’t think I really have much. When I think of the topic, I think of Drak (Dennis’) posters. I still have pictures of some of his stuff. THOSE are some cartoon posters.
-
Looks like I'm pretty light on animation stuff. I'll skip posting all my recent acquisition Pixar stuff, but I'll include a few older ones I haven't posted in a while.

There were 65(!) posters in the lot, and 55 won't make it into the shock-o-rama poster show? Egads. Definitely an interesting cross section-o-stuff. Dana Delany in (or out?) of that type of wardrobe in Exit To Eden would probably be a great exclamat…

(Quote) Oh, that's a slippery, slippery slope. Like I really need another genre to collect. Having said that, I have been eyeing the Heimlich advance 1 sheet for A Bug's Life.
Time for me to enroll in the movie poster collector's 12 st… -
(Quote) Great idea, and why not? The foundation of forums like this is to appreciate the medium/subject the forum celebrates. So what if you post things you may have shown in other threads? We loves us some pictures! I understand when people are r…

Thanks, guys.
I’m at the opposite end of the spectrum as you. I’ve seen all the Pixar films except one or maybe two (I know I’ve avoided Planes) and they’re all on tap at any time on Disney+. However, I’ll likely never get out… -
Yeah, I know nothing about the film, but I do like the poster.
