Very good. Do I perhaps need to include some more 1980's film images then?
No, don't change for me. I have seen very few musicals...hence my inability to contribute more to this thread. I was just shocked something immediately jumped out at me. And I hate the movie!

O.k. then, the same as usual mixture of many decades of film images will continue as usual leaving you to your detective work Ves.
A clue for the yet unanswered # 84 is that the film is based on a 1920's operetta.
The Student Prince (1954). A most underrated film.
Correct. I had thought this one would have been worked out earlier.
A U.S.A. one sheet and an Australian one sheet. As with some other very early printed MGM posters the world CinemaScope wasn't included on their posters for a short period of time..
I try to hold back as it's no fun to answer them all. To be fair, this is a B musical at best. Really a nice watch, but not the biggest stars and not a big hit at the time.
Liza and DeNiro. Never really liked the film but thr music was good. Final clue was the ticket. Still can't find that exact image, but have similar ones

Correct. I have never wanted to see this film myself.

Time is running out for receiving an answer for image # 88, originally posted here on June 19.
If still unanswered by tomorrow I will then reveal this film's name. I had previously stated that I had given my last clue, but what the heck, here is one more. Although classified as a musical it is also a drama, and probably more so this genre than being labelled a musical..
For image # 88 I was really hoping the Republic Production logo clue would have been enough to have solved it. Seeing I have included the image here for now ten days, I will not drag it on any longer.
The answer is Bal Tabarin, which was originally released in 1952.
