A wise man. The problem is I have so many images in reserve and as the answers always come quickly flowing I have to try and give everyone a bit of a challenge. I will post one shortly.
You were just hovering around Matt and even the poor arrtwork didn't through you. Actually it was an easy one as the film is a well know classic and how many scenes like that are around ? I will have to put my thinking cap on.
You have just stated no one is calling it Sci-fi. I begger to differ. I have found at least a dozen people or organisations who have listed if as being science fiction including The Encyclopedia Of Science fiction, Moria.co.nz website film review, Rotten Tomatoes, books.google.com.au has a Tom Hardy mention of it being a ''science fiction thriller'' and many more. IMDB actually lists it as one of the films many genres on their site. A few quotes from other sources - '' a minor science fiction feature'' & an anti communist science fiction parable".
I had mentioned it is a mixture of genres which it is and it has been described in many circles as being science fiction so everything I had written is correct.
And I beg to differ, all those sources are opinions, The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction is a book(s) by John Clute and Peter Nicholls (who also wrote The Encyclopedia of Fantasy), Moria, IMdb and Rotten Tomatoes are edited by the public - it is entirely possible if if one says it then they all say it, is it not? Just like dating a poster I guess
As I was only quoting from the American Film Institute, "...the most authoritative filmographic database on the web, includes entries on nearly 60,000 American feature-length films and 17,000 short films produced from 1893-2011..." so everything I had written is correct.
I have read the following- '' Three important elements of science fiction are speculating about humanity's future, the impacts of science and technology on people and settings in an alternative time and place''. The Whip Hand has all three of these elements.
In an interview conducted with the film's star Elliott Reid and published in the book ''Earth Vs. The Sci-Fi Filmmakers in 2005 the film was described as a sci -fi tinged suspenser.
I also read the film being called a borderline Sci-Fi film.
I stand by my decision in including the title in this quiz, taking into account my mention when downloaded the film that it was a mixture of genres along with being science fiction. I believe it belongs in the Sci-Fi category irrespective of the percentage of sci-Fi content.
Image # 44. Name the film title. The image isn't from a Sci-fi film. It just appears to be an image from one. This is an example of an image were looks can be deceiving. This image shouldn't have been posted here but it was to lighten things up a little.

So we are both correct then.

Moving on, my contribution to the quiz buys and girls:
Now it's lightened up.
Here's a hard one
Here is an easier one to put us back on track...

Image # 44 is correct. The boys didn't go to Mars but ended up in Venus instead.
Don't forget this one?
