Not The Fly, but I can certainly see why you may have thought that.

The time of your film's answer release and the unanswered film image's release are close.

Let's see how these two images will fare?

It certainly is Shaun Of The Dead from 2004. Well spotted.

  • Does the following expanded 292 image help at all?

    Zombieland
Yes 292 is Zombieland from 2009. Nicely figured out.

  •  293  294                 A couple of images from two truly classic horror films.
  • 293 is far too easy so I won't even bother! I'll leave it to someone else, but I'll guess C293 (from a film I haven't seen) The Golem (1920). I actually have it on BluRay so might watch this weekend.

The additional 293 image you mentioned that is far too easy is actually 294, and yes someone should hopefully answer it shortly.

Your follow up guess for 293 of The Golem is certainly correct.

  • I too immediately recognized it. Very controversial, to my way of thinking.

HAS 100% honest condition descriptions - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS auctions where the winner is the higher of two real bidders - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS "buyers premiums" - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "reserves or starts over $1 - NOT eMoviePoster.com

HAS inadequate packaging - NOT eMoviePoster.com

  • I'll give C294 a shot. Frankenstein (1931), not to be confused with this scene from Young Frankenstein.

I agree  that it was a very controversial scene in it's day.

Correct. The drowning scene was censored in many countries around the world. As well the film was completely banned in a number of countries. Although passed by the commonwealth Australian film censor the Australian state of South Australia completely banned the film from being screened there. Twenty one years later the S.A. ban was lifted and the film was screened there in 1952. An advertisement follows below.

An Australian  newspaper advertisement placed in an Adelaide,SA newspaper in 1952.
