I am thinking that this alternative daybill poster was originally printed for a self distributed first Australian 16mm release in the late 1960s for Ride A Wild Horse (1968 ).
Your poster version with the post 1971 new censorship rating would appear to have been acquired by BEF in the early 1970s and transferred onto 35mm for limited theatrical re-release screenings in this format.
( Trove )
Newspaper advertisement placed for a screening of the film on 3 March 1972 in South Australia.
Interestingly in New Zealand the same design of your Survive posted daybill was printed in red, added an exclamation mark after the film title, with N.Z. censorship and distribution credits printed also. The white surroundings on the original Australian poster were removed also. Apart from these alterations the design is exactly the same.
Is it me, or is the site having problems, first time I've been able to sign in, in months.. plus loads of pics seem to have disappeared..
I’ve been logged in and monitoring the site everyday. No issues that I have seen. If you are posting hyperlinks they may be disappearing. Remember we have a lot of storage, so you can upload all you want.
As far as logging in - Why aren’t you able to log in? Did you sign it? During updates it kicks everyone out. This happens every three months or so.
I eventually mangaed to sign in from an external link, but couldn't direct from the site.. The sign in box would come on and go about 4 lines wide straight away, stopping any log on..
