eBay ID Decoder Thread

OK so I was messing around on the eBay and I thought we could start compiling a list of eBay IDs and Sellers.

So to start since I was on eBay Australia...

Who are these two?

Novark =
Memphis777 =

  • Novark is a Collector from Melbourne, can't remember name though.
    Memphis is John from Nsw.

    Reggie knows everyone...

    ;)

I can't remember the last time I (bothered to) sell anything on eBay, my Trademe account has more sales than my eBay one
  • I have three:

    johnwr

    moviemem

    ozemovieposter

I often get people asking why three user ids? Well, the first one was set up when there was only one ebay site and I have had a US store on that one for years and will keep it there despite reducing the volume a bit. I wanted a store on the ebay Australia site so I had to use another userid to set that up. The third id is mainly for auctions and specific collections that I want to keep separate. The main reason all of this works for me is the fee structure and the free listing offers. Sometimes I get an offer on one id and not on the other. The offers can save a lot of money so the three userid's help.

Incidentally, ebay allows users to have multiple userid's.

  • I am emovieposter.com and movieposter

If eBay ever fires the loser running it and went back to how it once was, I would return, at least to some degree.

Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!
HAS lifetime guarantees on every item - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS unrestored and unenhanced images - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS 100% honest condition descriptions - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS auctions where the winner is the higher of two real bidders - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS "buyers premiums" - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "reserves or starts over $1 - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS hidden bidder IDs - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS no customer service to speak of - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "nosebleed" shipping charges - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS inadequate packaging - NOT eMoviePoster.com

As for offers, all you can do is try.  What is the worse that happens?  They say no....
