Welcome back… This post is one of the weakest entries of late. That is saying a lot, as the previous entry was pretty bad. However, the next entry will be even more pathetic than this one. I’m winding down from my recent purchases… Finally. I can’t afford anything.
But let’s take a look at when I have this time, shall we? This will be quick.
SURGIKILL (special):
I’m not sure what this is. It’s only 9 1/2 x 8 1/2“ long. It is some promotional piece for Andy Milligan’s “ SURGIKILL”. “SURGI-What!?! You’ve never heard of it, probably. I do not know why, but I am an anti-Milligan aficionado. SURGIKILL Was one of his last movies. It went straight to video. I caught it on DVD. It’s OK… Certainly nothing to write home about. But I couldn’t not get this piece. It is allegedly from Andy Milligan‘s estate…And was cheap.
POLTERGEIST I I:
Normally, I wouldn’t bother with sequel posters. But this was part of a lot. So why not? The movie itself… Not so good.
THE SATAN BUG:
Most of the posters in this post are from a lot purchase. I didn’t put every single poster in. Some of them just suck too much. I’ve never heard of this movie before. The poster, well, not great, is new to me. I don’t know the film. I don’t know the poster. So why not included?
CUJO:
I probably already have a copy of this. It’s not the best poster in the world and it’s not the best Stephen King adaptation.… But it’s Cujo. Woof.
LINK:
Another poster for a movie I’ve never heard of. Yes, it was from the lot I got. I might as well include it.
FIRESTARTER:
another substandard, Stephen King adaptation. I probably already have this poster, too. Who knows? Who cares? Yes, it was a lot purchase.
CAT’S EYE:
For those few who don’t know, this is yet another Stephen King adaptation that’s not really a Stephen King adaptation. It’s a collection of short stories of his-not a novel.adaptation. FIRESTARTER‘s, Drew Barrymore is back for this one as well.
THE FINAL CONFLICT:
Yes, another lot purchase. Who doesn’t have a cheap copy of this poster? This was a box off his bomb, I believe. It’s for strike against it was that it didn’t really identify itself as THE OMEN 3. I mean, it mentions being part of the OMEN trilogy, but… Certainly, this is my least favorite of the three original films. If you add in the fourth TV movie, this takes a step up. But that’s not saying much. This could’ve been so much more, but they obviously were keeping an eye on the budget. Too bad.
PSYCHO II:
I actually really liked the sequel. Yes this is another lot poster. I probably already have a copy of this or two. It was much better than PSYCHO 3 Or that TV movie (PSYCHO 4?) that was actually sort of a prequel with a young Norman Bates. But I did find this interesting. Not for purists, but go into it with an open mind if you haven’t seen it. The poster itself is just OK.
LEVIATHAN:
I saw this flick when it came out. I don’t remember much about it. There were a couple of other similarly themed movies that came out about the same time. Why is this lot poster taking the coveted last spot in this post? Because I don’t think I had a copy before. The art isn’t that exciting, but it’s new to me in the sense that I didn’t have it before.
And that is your 10 posters for this time. As I told you, it was short and sweet… And utterly boring. I have one more post ready to go. Nothing exciting there either… But I’ll get it up in about a week or so. Thanks for visiting this time. Cheers!
Apart from Surgikill and Link there are more well known films posters included this time around. The pick for me for its artwork and for me being a cat lover has to be Cat's Eye.

CAT’S EYE is far more interesting than FIRESTARTER, that’s for sure. More interesting than FINAL CONFLICT too, actually. I really didn’t have a favorite this time. The reason LEVIATHAN got the coveted last spot was because I think I had copies of the other posters already…except LEVIATHAN. (And SURGIKILL)
Welcome back!!! I know my last post was decidedly boring. This one isn’t much better. Oh sure, there are a couple of interesting bits here and there. But, by and large, there really isn’t much to see here either. But let’s not dawdle. Let’s get this show on the road.…
WARLOCK:
The late Julian Sands starred in this so-so horror film. There was a sequel as well, but I believe it went straight to video. This was part of a lot. I got in an auction. No big deal.
Normally, I would avoid posters for sequels. The. KARATE KID series does nothing for me. I know I saw the original back in the day in the theater. I think I even saw the sequel in the theater. But, I never jumped on the. KARATE KID bandwagon. It just didn’t work for me. But I had a chance to get this one and it’s rolled, not folded… I got it because of… (scroll down)
THE KARATE KID:
I got this poster as an investment. I’ve already said I wasn’t a fan of the series. But after three sequels (?) And TV series, I’m aware that this series has its fans. I can sell it if I need to.
I saw this when it came out back in the day. I was less than impressed. I had such high hopes for this Joe Dante film, but was horribly disappointed. Oh well. This was part of a lot.
Another lot purchase. Don’t worry, I’m not sharing every single poster in the lot. I saw this film when it came out. I remember distinctly going to see it with my grandmother. I didn’t need this poster. I already have a copy, in fact. As a kid, I remember this movie being kind of fun. It had a gimmick as well, “Sound 360”—which I’m guessing was an early form of Surround Sound? But this flick seems to have totally vanished from anybody’s radar these days. If I watched it today, I’m sure I would be disappointed.
This was not a lot purchase. I actually bought this on its own. I have a copy of this already. I bought this because it was cheap. This movie is basically an alien rip off with a robot instead of an alien. It’s terrorizing Kirk Douglas, and Farrah Fawcett on one of Saturn’s moons. Harvey Keitel is in the mix as well. It’s kind of silly. And it’s kind of a cool poster.
I already have a copy of this poster, and this copy has more wear than I am usually OK with. I was fascinated by this movie as a kid. The remake was a mess. Is this movie even well regarded today… Or is it just forgotten?
I had never heard of this. I saw this for sale on eBay and decided to go for it. There were no other copies of this poster floating around. I looked it up. It said it was a 2024 film on IMDb. I’m guessing it was something that played festivals in 2024? I don’t know. Not long after I bought this poster, I saw that it was going to be playing in theaters for a limited time. I didn’t get to see it. It didn’t play here. That’s not surprising. But it sounds kind of interesting. I’ll have to check it out eventually. My reasoning for buying this was that it seemed to be some sort of obscure horror movie. At the time I bought it there were no other copies of the poster available. Thinking it was from 2024 and the fact that it sounded so interesting Had me buying it thinking it might be a cult hit in the poster, which was clearly not mass produced on the level of something like SUPERMAN or JURASSIC WORLD would lead to an increase in value. No idea that will come to fruition or not, but I’m glad o got it. Hopefully I get to see it and it turns out to be worthwhile.
I never saw this film, but I’ve always wanted to. I’ve always been curious about it. This poster is the closest I’ve come to seeing it so far. I know this poster is pretty common, and it was a lot purchase, but I don’t think I ever had a copy before.
I never saw this movie, but I remember when it came out. The poster for it is interesting. Getting a peek at the film on the poster does pique my interest in seeing it. It looks bizarre. I think it was also European made? I don’t know for sure. Like I said, I’ve never seen it.
And that was it… 10 mostly nothing posters. I am working on another post. Almost everything in it was free. I’ll get that up in a week or two. My interest in buying posters is waning very quickly. I got news about my health. My cancer has spread to my lungs and some lymph nodes. That doesn’t sound good at all. I haven’t talked to the doctor yet as I write this. I don’t know what the plan will be yet… Or if they’re even will be one. I’ve already been through chemo for three months. I had a major surgery and now I’ve been on immunotherapy for the last six or seven months. To have the cancer spread is a big kick in the pants… Well, I was gonna say someplace else, but… You get the idea. Oh well. We will see what happens. (UPDATE: I’m starting a new chemo regime starting next week. I’ll be getting chemo weekly for three weeks with the 4th week off… and then repeating it all. It will be awful, but what choice do I really have?) Thanks for visiting the page. Check back eventually for the next post… Which may be the last post? Let’s hope not. Cheers!
I quite like Warlock. Trivia note - the director Steve Miner came to Australia to supervise the music and visited my hometown with one of the orchestra members. They were going fishing together and the local guy contacted me so i got to go out with them and interview Steve for the local paper. He was very easy to chat with.

How utterly exciting. I like stories like that. Very groovy. I especially like that. He was so easy to chat with and not arrogant or full of himself. What a happy and lucky coincidence for you. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Hi there. Welcome back. This post has slightly more than my usual 10. There are a lot of freebies on here. Instead of holding some back I just thought I’d throw up everything I have left. After this post, I have no more backlog of newly purchased posters to share. I am so broke and so in debt (medical bills) , I can’t afford anything anymore. While I am working on other posts about posters and poster projects… those are not about new releases and I’ll get to them eventually. I just wanted to get this one up since it was more or less ready. I’ve had to go back on a new chemotherapy regime. After chemo all last fall and winter and then my huge surgery in January, and then being on immunotherapy for seven months., it was discovered the immunotherapy was not working. My cancer has spread. So I am on a new type of chemotherapy. This one will last for six months at least. I have to go every week for three weeks, and then get the fourth week off. And then I repeat. There will be a total of 18 doses of this particular chemotherapy. Last year, I only had to endure eight doses and felt I was going to die. This is a different combination of drugs, so we’ll see how it goes. I doubt I will have anything new (poster-wise) for quite a while… if ever again. But let’s see what I have this time. Shall we? It’s not that exciting and it should go quickly… despite the extra posters being added in:
I know this is a spinoff og the HARRY POTTER movies. I was never a fan of that series. I saw the first one and maybe the second one on video. That’s it. I have purchased some of the posters now and again as an investment. I think the spinoff series wasn’t nearly as popular. Is it still even happening or is it over? I don’t know. I don’t really care. This was cheap and I got it to help pad out shipping costs.
I have no idea what this is. I never heard of it. This is a size I never collect. It was a freebie from my local theater. Until I was putting this post together, I hadn’t even bothered to see what the poster was. Ha!
I didn’t see this, although I wouldn’t have mind seeing it. The first one was OK. I’m sure this was just a retread, tumbling into CHILD’S PLAY territory, albeit with AI. I don’t buy sequel posters for the most part… And I didn’t buy this one either. It was a freebie from a vendor.. Thank you.
A while back I bought the video one sheet for GRAVEYARD SHIFT, a direct video vampire flick from the 80s VHS era. I remember seeing it back in the day and thinking it was just OK. It didn’t really float my boat, but I bought it because I knew it had a sequel. Not many direct video flicks had sequels… at least I don’t remember many having sequels. I usually don’t buy posters for sequels, but I came across this one and it was cheap. Why not?
Normally, I wouldn’t have purchased a prequel poster either. I did see this movie and it was OK. The poster was Uber cheap… Why not? Especially since it helped Pat out shipping costs for something else.
I know this is a recent movie, but I never saw it. With things streaming nowadays and the availability of digital posters, replacing paper posters… I’m not really sure. how big the print run was for this.. I have no idea how the movie is. It never played here. But I ran across it and thought why not get it? It was cheap. Everything I buy these days is cheap.
A while back I was very excited buy a copy of this poster. I’ve never seen the flick. However, I did dig the hourglass design with the sands of the hourglass being skulls. I had to have it. I bought it. That was featured in a previous post. Why show another one? This was a freebie at my local theater. I don’t think it actually played there, so I don’t know how they got the poster. But I’m glad I walked out with it.
This is another poster that I gleefully purchased a while back. It was too creepy not to. The movie was interesting. I went out of my way to see it. Why show another copy of this poster? The one in a previous post was one I purchased. This one was a freebie at the theater. It did play here… About a week or so after I saw it. I’m glad I snagged it and it went home with me. Why not get a free spare copy?
Oh my stars! Although he is one of the worst filmmakers ever, I am a huge fan of Andy Milligan. Most of his early work was nudie exploitation stuff. The story goes that the son of the distributor took all of those films and had them melted down to cash in on their silver content. For the most part, only Milligan‘s horror and horror-esque films survived. Imagine my thrill when I learned that two of these lost film films, KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME and THE DEGENERATES had been found and were being restored. They played at the Tribeca film Festival this summer. This is a copy of one of the posters used to advertise it. It’s only an 11 x 17. I don’t know if there were bigger or smaller sizes. I’m just lucky I got this. Eventually, they should be released by Severin, the cool boutique home video company that released the Milligan boxed set not too long ago. There’s also a Milligan documentary coming from the same people. I can’t wait to see them. I’m thrilled to have this poster. It’s already framed
I saw this… And I wasn’t thrilled. I like the first movie a lot. The second movie was also OK as I recall. But the third movie.? Not so much. I know there is a sequel to this third movie ready to go. I was surprised to see Ralph Finnes in it. I believe he is in the next sequel, which is due out very soon. But did this movie even make that much money? It just wasn’t the first movie or the second movie. It was set in the universe of it, but it was a completely different movie. Although I have a thing about avoiding buying posters for sequels… I did purchase this poster. It was cheap and again I used it to pad out shipping costs
This is a video release poster. I am aware there is a one sheet for the theatrical release, but I found this for a decent price. I recall seeing the movie back in the VHS error and was definitely not impressed. I know it has a cult following… for some reason… so I decided to pick up this video release. It wasn’t too expensive..
I have the original release poster for JAWS. In fact, I believe I have two of them. I also have the 3-D IMAX release poster from a year or two ago. And yet… Here I am getting sucked into the feeding frenzy for the 50th anniversary poster. I don’t know why I felt I needed this. I don’t have the money for it. But here it is. Did I even bother to see it? No. It didn’t play locally and I wasn’t about to go travel an hour or more to see it.… Especially when I saw the 3-D we release just a year or so ago. I did get suckered into buying the JAWS shark popcorn tin, and the Amity Island popcorn bucket at the AMC in Burlington, which is an hour away from me. I’m such a sucker for all things JAWS apparently.
And that is it. I hope you’ll come back when I eventually post my update post. Who knows? There may eventually be another new acquisition post… But I’m sure whatever comes my way will be something that was really cheap or free. Don’t be holding your breath for something exciting. Thank you for joining me now though. Did anything here strike your fancy or interest you? Probably not. But this is what I had.Have a groovy day. Thank you again for visiting.Cheers!
I always look at your postings to see the obscure titles that are usually included in your entries. It expands my knowledge regarding large numbers of film titles that I previously had never known existed.
Istanbul was a Swedish/Turkish co-production from 1989 that struggled to find an audience.
All the very best in the future with the managing of your health problems.

Thanks for looking. Not much going on I’m afraid. The well wishes are accepted. Thank you.
