Great to have you back here Jay. # 233 correct and Manila Calling was released in 1942. Of the two images that I posted, I had thought of the two this one would possibly prove to be the hardest one to identify.
We still have # 232 to be identified, but I have now added another image # 234 from another completely different film featuring similar images to make it perhaps a tad more interesting.
Both answers correct. The Big Red One ( 1980 ) and Edge Of Darkness ( 1943 ). Google by all means. It's good to to see you participating here on this thread Charlie.
Operation Disaster (1950) with John Mills and Richard Attenborough.
IMDB seems a bit confused on this one. It shows the title Morning Departure as well as the original title.
Picture appears to be from the German poster
Correct answer. The original British country of origin title was Morning Departure which was also retained mainly throughout the world The U.S.A. title was Operation Disaster, following the usual trend to have a more exciting sounding title for a good deal of British films released there.
Pictured from left to right is John Mills, Nigel Patrick and an unidentified actor.
The image material was used to promote the West Germany release.
A nice Austalian daybill printed with the original title.
243 Two more entries. One from the Korean War and the other from World War 11. 242 should be gettable, but for the other image it is one I like to throw occassionly that is really odscure, so good luck.
#243 - La grande Speranza (1955) Retitled Submarine Attack and Submarine Zone for English audiences in 1956
The Italian naval cap gave it away.
Correct and good work Matt. Lois Maxwell who starred in this Italian film of course went on to become Miss Moneypenny in the early James Bond films. I like the following U.S.A. lobby card image using another title of Torpedo Zone.
Lois Maxwell made a couple of other Italian films in the early 1950s including Aida in 1953 playing opposite a very young Sophia loren.
Three more World War 11 film images to solve. Seeing the recent entries have been answered in quick time without having to give any clues, I have I believe increased the difficulty level with these latest obscure entries to make things a little more challenging.

Three more scenes from films set during World War 11 to be identified. Two out of the three shouldn't be too hard to answer.
Image is at imdb.

.Matt said: Both answers correct. Kelly's Heroes from 1970.
Now this leaves only 238 to solve. The clue is in the actor appearing on the far left of the image.
