387 is Doris Day in The Glass Bottom Boat.  Typical cute DD and I believe her last film.
Edit: IMDB says she did a couple more, ending with With 6 You Get Eggroll in 1968.  Always respected that she knew when to retire and not go out with some embarrassing role.
  • Correct. The Glass Bottom Boat aka The Spy in Lace Panties from 1966.

  • A 388 clue is a big Hollywood star in a British film.
  • Another 388 clue is starred in a much loved television series later in her career..
  • Another clue for 388 is Technicolor

  • That is Yvonne because I've seen that picture several times, but I don't know the movie.  If no one else knows I'll do some googling later.

Yes indeed it is Eleanor Powell, but the film scene is from Thousands Cheer from 1943.

The number she perormed in the film is called Boogie Woogie. A cool clip of her performing this number can be viewed on You Tube,

  • Makes sense.  Just sloppy on my part.
  • A clue for 389 is she had an older lesser known singer and actress sister.
  • A further clue for 389 is a big Paramount star in the 1940s.

  • Betty Hutton in Incendiary Blonde but I cheated

  • Betty Hutton in Incendiary Blonde but I cheated

Correct answer for 389. As long as I receive a correct answer, no worries. Incendiary Blonde from 1945.

  •  391  392
The latest images for you. My feeling is that they shouldn't present a problem in one being able to recognise the ladies appearing above.
  • 391 Sophia Loren and 392 Anita Ekberg

Easy ones...that's the only reason I could get them :)

391 Sophia Loren and 392 Anita Ekberg

Correct. The Sophia Loren image from The Pride And the Passion (1957) and the Anita Ekberg scene from La Dolce Vita (1960).

Easy for you, but maybe not so for others, but l did think that they would be recognised sooner than later.
