  • Shite, that is impressive. Well worth the extra cost.
  • Jollynice Matias, yours is one collection I would love to see in it's entirety.

Can't beat Babs Michael, is the frame a plastic, as it seems very smooth?
  • Paul, after hanging it, I wish it was plastic. Its a 3.5 inch wood frame. It weighs about 35 pounds.
  • Wish I had that Barbarella....all I have is Bruce's t-shirt....which is good also. :-\"
  • Very nice Michael

    And  hahaha...I've washed it that many times...it's faded. 8-}
  • That's stunning Michael

True Vue is, as we say downunder, top of the Wazza, exceedingly expensive but it is amazing to see quality pieces behind it, you swear there is no glass at all.

I have the same T-Shirt...faded too, well worn, well loved, good quality
  • It's good you have a high stud Michael, those big images look great as a result
  • I hope the door handle doesn't hit it

I can see the door stop on the skirting board.

Yeah but I wouldn't have thought the gap usually left is big enough to allow for such a frame. I am sure it is all ok, I guess I'm curious if anything else was done to accommodate it.

  • Pretty sure he would have worked that out...
  • I will expose my shame. In the picture at the top of thread you can see the Lady in the Lake three sheet on the side. That piece use to hang where the Forbidden Planet now rests. The old door stop use to work fine, but with Forbidden Planet not so good. This is due to thick mat on the Forbidden Planet. The poster sticks out more than the other one. I went to the hardware store to get a new doorstop, but they had nothing that would work. So I went to the bolt aisle and picked up a five-inch bolt. That seems to do the Job. I will probably have to order something special so it looks nicer.

Hey, some of us here collect man size posters, not posters that look small enough to come out of a corn flakes box, posters made for kids and by kids

These man size posters are hard to find space to hang them, unlike those smaller posters that can be placed inside a wallet to be unfolded and looked at in a sweet moment.

For those with man sized posters, it is interesting to know how one overcomes the challenges with the limited available wall space we have been given

Steve this must be some kind of ranty nightmare since you've been asleep for an hour already!

I think the answer was not "40" but more simply - a longer doorstop.

That's now 2 comments in a row from David repeating what was previously said. WE KNOW!

What is the "40"? - Look harder, as it aligns with sunlight far away. You might need more help with this one as I don't think you are grasping it yet.

    I meant 42

As to the rest of your comments, meh.
  • I don't get the 42 either. If you are referring to the gap Id say it is probably about 20mm

Anyway, I had visions of the door slamming open in a wind gust and it flexing into the poster. Just asking...

No need for the above sarcsms, but that what baiter do... so finally on the 2nd attempt you've got your response... ho hum... how about this, maybe don't bait and you want hear meh!

  • If the answer is 42 and you don't know what it means, well then shame on you.

And I don't need bait for small fish anyway...
  • Why can't you fellows get along? Too much testosterone perhaps..
  • Not enough testosterone perhaps?  ;)
