collection worth anything?
Hi All,
I'm new to the forum but have been collecting movie posters for a long time and wanted to get a little more insight into what I have and what I should be looking for... and how to store posters that I don't have room to add to the walls!
I've just been going through a collection I've had rolled for a few years and found a fantastic DIE HARD poster that I bought when I was a kid in a poster store here in the UK. And it's in pretty great condition considering! From what I have found out, it's the pre-release poster design, but it doesn't have the "coming this July" line at the bottom.
I also found a RETURN OF THE JEDI 'Wicket the Ewok poster I bought at the cinema after seeing the movie. I also found a huge fabric plastic banner poster for THE CABLE GUY, as well as some very cool RESERVOIR DOGS posters to promote the film being available on VHS in the UK. I used to work in a cinema and a video store so was able to get hold of lots of these things quite easily.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello, and see if anyone thinks any of the above could be interesting...

Personally I find vinyl banners to take up more space in the garage than fill a wallet - I threw out 20 or 30 when I shifted a few months back. If you want to get an idea of what your stuff is worth, a great resource is here http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html
