Wikipedia and IMDB Inaccurate Information.
If anyone is trying to date a film poster beware that some of the information regarding release dates of films that took place in Australia, that is showing within the Wikipedia and IMDB websites is inaccurate. I am sure people are aware of this fact though. It always pays to check as many sources as possible to accurately date when a film was released in Australia ( or anywhere else as well ). What triggered me off mentioning this is currently on IMDB the British classic film from 1948 The Fallen Idol is credited as being first released in Australia on 2 November 1951, when in fact the release date was definitely in 1949, so the release date mentioned is well out time wise.
