Dating The Outlaw ( 1943 ) Australian Daybills

The Outlaw ( 1943 /1946 ). To once and for all date the above two daybill posters I have decided to do so. The original United Artists release was at the Sydney Plaza on Friday the 25th of July, 1947. The RKO Radio re-release ( 1950 in the U.S.A. ) was released in Australia in 1952. Love the search for Brisbane's Jane Russell newspaper advertisement from Sunday the 14th of September, 1952. To set the records straight there wasn't a release of The Outlaw circa 1943 in Australia. Where is the 1952 RKO Australian one sheet? Heaps of daybills but no one sheet. Exciting news is that an original 1947 United Artists one sheet has surfaced and the design is most likely not what you would have expected.

Yes I was referring to this one and it certainly leaves the United Artist 1947 daybill in it's wake ( in my opinion ) .
