Thought I would share my, just arrived, digital copy of Heritage's very fine magazine Intelligent Collector, the title of which I always thought was an oxymoron...however still a great read.

Only members of this forum can see this post, but I am sure Mel got his own copy, given he is a 5* Intelligent Collector himself - SEE, I told you...an oxymoron! Well perhaps just two of those syllables apply... \:D/

Dunno how to answer, often is not a term I would use, but I buy/bid when I see something I would like, and sometime I win and sometime I don't.

I have never bought from heritage, I think there BP is "un-intelligent".

buyer's premium is just a simple math solution
if you're willing to pay $500, you don't bid over $400.
I agree it does require math skills, but it's simple enough that everyone should be able to do it
