The collection may be small but it certainly is impressive. Hard to pick a favourite.
  • small but fantastic
  • Thanks for the comments. In regards to Frankenstein/Son of Dracula, I acquired it about 30 years ago from a store in Stanmore NSW, Be interested to know if anyone has any information on It as my search on the web has come up zero.

Both Frankenstein and Dracula were reissued in 1957 by Eros Films if that helps. The later release in the early 60s was by Rank.

    Nice poster!

The store most likely being being Stars Rock And Movie posters at 188 Parramatta Road, Stanmore. Keith Hutchinson being the proprietor and there were at leasr three other locations Stars operated at over many years. It was a pleasure to visit the stores. Does anyone know what Keith is doing these days?

Eros Films reissued a lot of Universal horror films in the 1950s and early 1960s in the U.K.

Keith has moved on to other ventures and was doing very well when I last spoke to him earlier this year. He sold off the majority of his absolutely massive inventory. Back in the 80s/90s he was the pioneer movie poster dealer in Australia. He regularly sent out a newspaper format catalogue to his customers and sold through his various outlets.
  • I don’t believe I have ever seen that particular Franky/Dracula quad before very nice!
  • Love "the Fly".

Interesting the Brits spelt colour without a "u".

I used to visit Stars every time I went to Sydney, first at Five Dock, then Oxford Street (and picking up a pizza at Marilynas Pizza (their pizza store almost next door), and later when they moved to Stanmore.

Later after Stanmore operated in a small shop in a little arcade opposite the old Regent Theatre site in George Street?  Did this happen?
