Even though my immediate question was answered I still have other questions if you wouldn't care read through the comments. I appreciate being here and all the help!
I've been up all night waiting for to get into this forum! Whew! Ok! Hi. My names Bethani I'll tell ya about me later.. I found a poster and I think it's a fake but there's something else to it! And I wanna know everything. And if you can help me figure it out I'll sell it I'm in it for the dopamine not the wall art ok. Here's the details. 14x36 it's linen backed (expensive linen canvas at that) but this thing is cut in 4 sections but was printed in one peice . It's lithograph. But from what seems to be a copy and for the love of what why is it jumbled and not like any of the known versions!? Heeellllppp please and thank you!

This poster design is Australian in origin and originally would have been printed in what we call in Australia a long daybill format, with this being 15 x 40 in size, It should have also had a blank section at the top of the poster added to be used for theatre and play dates information. An example of this practice is shown in the below 1938 poster example which was also printed for the same distributor by Marchant & Co.
Additional question.. has there ever been instances found that reprints were made just for archival reasons? I mean these are archival linen.. and why wouldn't they just print it on the linen. I feel kinda dumb now that I've looked up the others that were with it and how much those are worth. But I'm still so confused.. there is too much money wrapped up in these to risk fakes. Any examples of printing company's doing something like this for archival reasons? In spite of myself I can't stop my mind from wanting to know everything before tossing all of these.
If you haven’t already you’ll be getting messages on these from auction houses and dealers. What is more disturbing is how they are stored there with duck tape.
Eagerly awaiting more intel!
It may take sending them to a well known auction house for inspection.
Post some more pictures please!
Any chance of seeing a full image of the partly seen poster appearing behind the Flash Gordon poster?
