Nothing stopping members from discussing some of the special items up for grabs in places like Rich, HA and/or Bruce - because, and this may shock some, but we are here to discuss movie posters too!
In fact I believe all three auction houses have had items they have had up for sale discussed and the owners of two of them have also made a comment without it turning into a shit fight.

1.) why my was my previous comment censored?
I had written "There was no shit being stirred except for your off tangent diatribe" and it was edited and changed to "There was no shit being stirred except for your mis-reading and response"?
I can only assume Charlie edited it because he realised he mis-read the postings in the thread and instead of manning up saying he made a mistake changed my words instead to not what I meant!
Why are David, Charlie and Matt (as I mustn't refer to just one Admin) re-editing other peoples posts in such a way? The thread title has already been changed, now this...
Just trying to figure out the rules as it does seem confusing... THANKS!
Yeah this has also happened to me a few times. I guess the owners of the forum can chop and change things as they like. Don't worry Steve, were just lousy movie poster collectors..

Oh dear Steve, you do live in a special world - look carefully at each post, any post that has been edited (by anyone) is time stamped and the person who edited is noted, the post to which you refer has no such notation, either you are confused by your own excessive writings about nothing or simply a shit stirrer.

I am all but certain that is what I wrote David, if I didn't not, then of course I apologise. That is interesting to know however that you checked with Charlie first the facts around 2am his time before seeking an apology.

You can't know that is what I did, and that is what you are saying otherwise you wouldn't be demanding an apology. Those here I believe generally would not say I have any precedence/reputation or any reason to lie. In fact I don't know when I did last lie... maybe as a kid?
2.) Now David your turn again, if you are man enough, apologise if the following is also a lie (as it appears to be) that the edit line appears when an Admin makes an edit. I looked up the Vanilla forum Community and it says from what I read
that the editing line does not appear in this forum version if an admin makes an edit: Ref. I would have thought even before checking that Admins can make silent edits. While you are at it, admit you are indeed confused as you claimed not to be in your post above (it can't leave an edit line and also not leave an edit line at the same time!). And until you have real proof an edit wasn't made then an apology for the current accusation would also be in order from you. You are raking them up at the moment

This forum is not set to hide admin posts as you seem to have taken it on yourself to search, find and then report back to HQ on. Why? Because this forum is not set to "Default View" you fool, if it was why would the first post in this thread (where I edited your title) be showing it was edited by me? Hell, log out and look again, even guests can see if posts have been edited. Personally I never even knew about the 'silent edit', FFS this is a poster forum not a government conspiracy - I would hazard a guess Charlie didn't know about it and our resident IT expert Matt probably didn't either. And really, do you really think we would bother turning it on and off just to catch you out. Of course that's assuming we actually know how to selectively do that but then I am guessing it's either on or it's off - but I am sure you will check it out and report back...
Oh and yeah, I checked the log files before I called you out..the log files show every single edit since day one, some 53 pages of them...Charlie's supposed "edit" of your post doesn't appear there either.
