Smash Palace is a great movie and no Footrot Flats is a Kiwi filum, here's the theme song by Dave Dobbyn, a top kiwi artist of the 80s.

The back up band was Herbs, also somewhat of an iconic band in NZ - produced some great songs, including this protest song to the French about nuclear testing
