Good point Bruce. For the record though The Wasp Woman was never released theatrically in Australia.

As long as you are being technical, did Ghost of Frankenstein and Son of Frankenstein/Bride of Frankenstein have a quick re-release in Australia like they did in the U.S.?

Really Bruce? Why so defensive?
I made a simple comment about the top four current bids from two different categories. Neither comment was comparing apples to oranges a simple case of making mention of the four leading bids of two types of (similar) posters in an major auction event, one that no one had yet discussed.
No mention or or comparison to like with like titles at all, in fact I stated at the beginning it was the "Top 4: Highest to Lowest Bid"
I guess I completely misunderstood. I thought that when you said "Maybe Bruce is right, Daybill collectors have got everything they need,
the bidding looks off the pace, even at this early stage:" you meant that this was why there was the price difference between the two groups. I apologize for misunderstanding, and I apologize for being defensive.
You can make it up to me by consigning some great daybills for my December auction!

I along with Bruce misunderstood what you were stating David, which is something you yourself have done in the past also on some things I had commented on.
Please explain what you meant by the ''not an unexpected comment''?
I guess I completely misunderstood. I thought...you meant that this was why there was the price difference between the two groups.
Quite OK. And nope, was not comparing the two at all, I even preceded the Inserts by stating "But its US cousin, the Insert, is doing well, and some very nice pieces too..."
As an aside, I hope you noticed we're the only forum that can copy n paste an entire web page and pretty much keep its format, meaning visitors here can simply click on the link to bid...lucky we have this thread huh?

I have never seen that before. I did not even think to click on them because I did not imagine it would be a link, since in EVERY other forum those DON'T link.
But shouldn't you remove those, since this is a "dealer free" forum? And maybe you are "outing" those auctions, so that would be another reason not to post them!

So, are you people tired of thinking about a gift for Matias and never finding a good one? Suffer no more! He will be delighted with this Anselmo Ballester original artwork for the argentinean version of Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
This is coming to auction in November, both HA Sig and TCM Bonhams have a copy, to be auctioned very close together. Interesting to see which one will attract the highest bid.
