How well do autographs hold up if your getting the poster linen-backed?

I have a few posters I am looking to get linen-backed, but are autographed by the actors in the film. How well do these autographs hold up through the linen-backing process and possibly any kind of restoration that needs to be done. My Batman The Movie poster is the one in question and definately needs some small restoration work don on the poster as well.

Depends on the ink...  Sharpie is perfectly fine.

Here is one I backed with a ton of signatures...  All sharpie.  The owner of the poster asked me not to touch up signatures that had damage to preserve the "mojo" I guess...
