WARNING: This is a biographical romantic drama adapted from the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen written by Jane Hawking. This isn't a film about Stephen Hawking's science -- and I have been regretting my not knowing that before buying a ticket for weeks now.

The Theory of Everything: I can't reccomend this movie. Only see this if you're more interested in the theory of  Jane Hawking's marriage to Stephen Hawking from Jane's perspective and the cliche of a relationship that goes from wonder and romance to complacency and seperation. It could be a story about your neighbors marriage and divorce if one of them had motor neuron disease or other motor impairment. Yes, I wanted to bend the fabric of space-time, all evening, after seeing this movie in hope of getting my two hours back.

Go see if: If you're interested specifically in the relationship of Jane Hawking's marriage to Stephen Hawking.
Do not see if: if you're assuming Theory of Everything will have anything to do with the brilliant science of Stephen Hawking.
