Depends, mine is (mostly) not distinguishable to most Australians. On the other hand I don't hear the Aussie accent in Melbourne, but the Sydney accent can be quite 'hard', but only in parts of Sydney...if it wasn't for my car most people probably wouldn't know I was a kiwi...
