Matt said earlier and I missed it - The Eternal Sea. That's correect and Sterling Hayden is with Alexis Smith. Thank you as this is one of the two I couldn't solve. Was thinking of a 20th Century Fox film and not bringing to mind any Republic Pictures that Fox distributed in the 1950's. And then there were five.
A Hatful Of Rain, Sierra Baron Blue Denim ( Blue Jeans in Australia ), Beloved Infidel & Unknown Terror all correct.
I hadn't even noticed the image under the 20th Century Fox logo so it turns out to be 13 images. Most of the artwork on the stock posters was similar to the original Australian daybill artwork but where I have to complement Charlie is the images from the stock poster of Unknown Terror and Beloved Infidel didn't appear on the original Australian daybills of these titles. The Unknown Terror sourced from various U.S. material and Beloved Infidel appears to only have been on the U.S. 6 sheet.
This leaves us with only one image. this being second image from the right at top of poster, to identify. See if someone ( come on Charlie ) can work it out. If not identified after a few more days I will post a few clues. I originally thought this images was one of the easy ones and would have been identified early on.
Oh this is very interesting. For some reason I had never really given stock posters much thought. Never came to realize that actual artwork from existing films/posters would be used to elevate beyond generic chinese child labour etchings!
Let's complete the quiz. Who are the actors images depicted on Blue Jeans ( Blue Denim ),Beloved Infidel, A Hatful Of Rain And Sierra Baron ( the trickiest one ? Unknown Terror doesn't apply as it isn't human.
The final image Matt has correctly named. It is Demetrius And The Gladiators the sequel to The Robe. Demetrius was released earlier than the others on the poster. The movie was actually released in late 1954 not 1952.Charlie was right in saying the other films were released 1956 - 1959. The image is depicting the character of Peter played by Michael Rennie.
Interesting comment by CSM posted earlier regarding artwork on stock posters. My next quiz I will post is a mystery as to if the images are copied from actual artwork or generically drawn images or a combination of both.
Your answers for Blue Jeans & A Hatful Of Rain are correct and Rick Jason for Sierra Baron is also right. Remember him from Combat?. Not 100% certain but Rita Gam is sure to be the woman. Never viewed the movie and is rarely shown, if at all, these days. Gregory Peck and Deborah Kerr were the stars of Beloved Infidel.
Although 1959 is the last year for any of the film images drawn on the daybill I have found information that another stock poster of this design was used in for the printing of ''Movietone News The British And Commonwealth Games'' which were held in Perth 1962 exists. Does anyone know of any other titles printed on this rare design stock poster?

I'm wondering now if the image of the couple in black struggling over a firearm is from a Republic picture?
Hondo.
Sorry Rick not Porgy and Bess. Other two are correct.
Of the remaining five images two had some controversy surrounding them in their day.
