Oh please...everyone wants to buy for peanuts but sell for nuggets...
I don't see the issue...a seller, any seller sets their price. If it's not the right price for you, no one is twisting your arm.
5K for Fantasia for you might be high, might be right on the money for me.
So then what is the "fair" or realistic price? What it sold for in the past? What other people are selling it for?
The variables on the poster and time it is being offered are wide and varied.
If I have a poster worth 5k and I start it at 99c and there is a bidding war on the poster and the poster sells for 7K, what is the fair and realistic price?
Did I list it at that price, was my estimate of its worth right or was the final price paid right?
Pricing and cost of things is so subjective...I don't understand why people get hung up on it.
Poster A has a price, if you want it, buy it, if not don't.
Yeah, can you tell this continual arguing over price bugs the heck out of me...
Fuck yeah, I've put prices on Bidll that are probably over the top in collectors minds but I don't give a shit. That's the price in my mind and there's probably not another for sale right now. I'm not talking Supermarket items.
You want it...buy it....no...makes me no never mind.
Look up the definition of pure economics and translate that to poster collecting.
Crikey. I certainly didn't think anyone was arguing here? Just a discussion. I posted an eBay listing and then asked David on he's opinion on the price because of he's knowledge with Disney posters, that's all. Now it's spiralled elsewhere..
