The Lost Squadron ( 1932 ). The graphics and colour are great.
Beautiful!
Indeed. Richard Dix seems to have been featured in several good posters!
That's because Richard Dix worked for RKO, which had the most artistic posters overall in the early 1930s!

since we are on a Richard Dix kick, this 1 sheet of mine is also his. The one on the right. These are from an old apartment. The posters are still hanging, but in better surroundings. I really need to update this photo.

Talking about Richard Dix at RKO, what about these excellent Cimarron ( 1931 ) U.S. and Swedish one sheets then?
I would agree!!!
Wow!!! Richard Dix + RKO = Fantastic artwork/posters!
Gosh the posters from this period are in a world of their own aren't they?
For me anything with Clara Bow...something about that face. I hope one day to be able to add some paper with that gorgeous face to my collection!

As for Bogie, I agree! I like anything from his "detective" films...
Here you go...that is a stunning poster.
(Don't know if an original 1936 release has ever been found? So in its place is the 40s rr)
