HA POSTERS: DO YOU GET ANY ''EXTRA PIECES OF PAPER'' WITH HA OR AM I A LUCKY GIRL
OK, this is what happened more than a couple of times with HA. Not saying it is often, but it has happened often enough.
HA posters, sometimes arrived exactly as described and posted on their website BUT with an extra piece of paper that belongs to the poster which is often described in their description as 'trimmed borders'' or 'missing paper'' . Well, it is not entirely missing if they can then send it over to you.. no? That piece is never included in their description. I would have thought that it would help to sell the poster if you post an image of what you are selling (ALL OF IT).
It happened to me recently with the the IHON JC, as you can see below, it has some extra paper on top. That it is part of the missing top (with some holes in it)... By the way, Charlie, if you read this - others welcome to comment too if the want - should I attempt to restore them (i would have thought not.. but .. thoughts?)
Anyway, it is more the bit of paper extras that I am getting what has got me thinking - has this happened to you.. is it normal? or am I just lucky that I get these ''extras''?
HA should really be more careful with their description.

That is so odd. I certainly agree that from a buyer's standpoint knowing the missing paper is actually still extant and being offered (even if separated from the actual poster) would go a long way towards me actually bidding! Don't know why HA would not state this? A nice surprise for sure
Always better to try to use original elements in a restoration if possible (in my opinion)...
