Don't travel to Australia......you'll hit a kangaroo while driving.

Well I hit one this morning driving home from work. Missed the first kanga but there was a second one right behind it as they crossed the road in front of me.

  • That happens in rural Missouri, but it is with deer. They start across the road, see the headlights and freeze. They sell "deer guards" here that install on the front of your car or truck. It doesn't mean no damage, but it helps.

It must be like hitting Moose up your way - local flora and fauna etc etc
  • Yes Bruce, that's what kangaroos do too and the second one stopped and froze. If it kept hopping along everything would be fine.

Chris I have insurance but a guy at work can get spare parts real cheap, so I'll go that option if I can.

  • Pretty happy now, got rid of the bonnet stone chips. :D
