Seems fraudulent copies are popping up everywhere too. Be AWARE!

    Upwards of 97 watchers..WTF?

  • WTF is right - is this actually ever going to be a collectible?
  • If the people paying these ridiculous prices stopped and thought about it for a minute, they should realise that the initial print run of how many thousand are now going to be throw out or sold on ebay. My guess is that ebay will be flooded with them. Give it a month or so and they'll be worth $10 or $20.
  • I got my Quad and 1sht from my usual cinema guy for a couple of quid....I may sell them..
  • People are DUMB
  • I dunno, if I was a little less stable I might be entertaining a conspiracy theory as a means to promote a 2nd rate comedy...I guess there are some people who also made money on the poster but at least the people who bought them can hold them open with their Pet Rocks.

  • Think its collectable but worth anything in a year or two? it could be more to do with politics than the film.
  • Collectible for the history, worth anything is indeed the debatable part.

I thought I'd posted it here, but not.....to go with my 1sht and Quad, I have the official letter sony sent to Cinemas, and an un-opened Banner, and still haven't spent over a Tenner...   oh, and the trailer on flash pen as seen covering info.

I don't think they will be worth a lot, that boat has sailed, but it's history in the making, and that is one of the reasons why I collect, the history of cinema...
  • Way too cool!
  • Unique find Paul! Now that's a great bit of history. Congrats !
  • Very nice acquisition! What size is the banner? 24x80? Are you going to open to see the image?
  • Thanks Guys, the Banner is 8 foot by 5 foot, I was guessing it's just the same as the 1sht, but now you have me curious....I may open it and take a peek.

NOOOOO!....If you do that, it will be worth AU$5.78.

On the flip side the packaging might be worth a buck or two.
    :P
  • I open posters like a skilled surgeon, it's back in the packaging and you can't tell it's been opened...

    My guess was pretty close....

  • How much for the packaging?
  • I may get more for the packaging if I sell it as a box to keep fishing rods in...
  • Impressive! Nothing like Commie tanks & nukes to draw large audiences! :P
