Duotone Daybills With No Printer's Names On Them.

With the hundreds and hundreds of duotone daybill & one sheets posters printed in Australia in the 1940's through to the 1960's, are there any we can group together as being from the same printer although we have no idea who the printer is? I believe we can to a small extent. Any one agree or disagree? I would like to hear from anyone with thoughts on this subject before I post a few examples that I believe  fall into this category.I am not including the 1970 onwards in this thread.

  • Someone must have an opinion with something to offer on this subject.

  • Is this a guessing game? Surely we'd have to analyse poster by poster to start with.

I suppose it is a guessing game. If the printers with no names had  particular poster artists  I think the individual artists styles would  be noticeable in certain cases and I believe I can group together a batch of daybill posters that were  designed by the same artist or artists who were instructed to design a particular style  in the 1950's for whatever unknown printer that may have been.
