Ive got 12 of the 14----the chair is in the way so I cant see the 4th one, and the 9th one Ive no clue. As for a link-none of them star Matthew Broderick-one of my personal favorites! ;)
  • I've got all but the one behind the chair
  • Fair enough - it's The Hudsucker Proxy.

So name and the link with all...

    Everyone's...  =)
  • Got all but #9. And no possible clue as to the link...posters ranging from 1925 to 1995 has me stumped. Clue as to the link? :pensive:

The answer will be provided on New Year's Day, or thereabouts.
  • And still need to poster/movie names...

As no one got the answer to the names of the movies/poster here is the image...as to the link between each movie, I said no clues but the answer will be on or about New Year's Day.

    Enjoy your evening.

  • I had all films the but the link....is it Christmas?
  • Well I've got no idea.

    Well I've got no idea.

  • I believe the common theme is that all the movies have major plot elements related to New Year's Eve.

As the Oscars are over we've replaced the forum banner and as always there is a theme, it's one thing to name the movie (poster) but naming the theme that links them all is the money shot - close is no cigar.
  • Figure out the forum banner?! Sheesh! I'm still trying to figure out how your going to get R2D2 to personalize an autographed poster, WITH authentication!
  • In my old age, I can barely make out what some of them are, let alone how they are related!
    1. The Avengers 2012
    2. Harry Potter Deathly Hallows part 2 2011
    3. Skyfall 2012
    4. Lord of the Rings The Return of the King 2003
    5. The Force Awakens 2015
    6. Spider-Man 3 2007
    7. Fast and the Furious 26 (Well, the last one.)
    8. Transformers Dark of the Moon. 2011
    9. Pirates of the Caribbean 5 2017
    10. The Dark Knight Rises 2012
    11. Jurassic World 2015
    12. Fantasia 1940
    13. Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark 1982
    14. X-Men 2000

Theme -  Writers and Directors these days can't come up with any new original ideas, so to make a quick buck they'll flog to death any old idea.

If that ain't it....I still want a cigar.

  • Cigar? I'll have a Partagas... B)
  • Black label man eh. ;)
  • Matt-...Maduro's can be a little spicy, but are good with 3 fingers of Old No 7... =)....
  • Now there's a man with taste.

    You as well, bud...
  • Cigar - haven't had one for a few years, used to be an annual tradition with my best man, a cigar each and a bottle of rum between us each Xmas...whittling wood (as we would refer to it) on the balcony of his house. By the end we had solved most of the world's problems with a fair amount of ease.

and you may have the movie names Matt, but the fact Fantasia is in there throws off your theory.
  • Put your glasses on old man.

No wait. I'll edit your post to correct your spelling error.

  • Thanks Marvin
