Yes you are correct. It is Zero Hour! from 1957. and also that a parody film Airplane! ( a.k.a. Flying High in Australia ) was made and released in 1980.

  •   X50
One for the car lovers maybe.
  • Well, it is a red Bugatti, likely model 35.
  • Grand theft auto??

If you say so. I don't have any information regarding the car make used in the film., I will add that I know very little about cars.

A model of a red Bugatti T35. The Two car images do resemble each otter,

    Sorry but not that film.

  • Clue for X50 is - was once one of Hollywood's biggest stars.
  • Final clue for X50 is that in real life the lead actor appeared to be eighth time lucky.
  • While it would certainly appear that X50 has proven to be too difficult so far to identify, I will leave it for another 24 hours before I will reveal the answer in the hope that it will be identified and answered.

I did think though that my clues would have been sufficent for someone to work out the answer.
  •  X51
.I am hoping that this image will prove easier to identify.
  • As it certainly would appear that no one is going to answer X50, I will now reveal the answer to be The Big Wheel from 1949.

  • Never would have guessed that one.

A clue for this one is that a gimmick was involved,
  • So it's a William Castle movie. Homicidal?

Correct for X51.   Homicidal from 1961 it certainly is.

  •  X52
If you can recognise one or both of the pictured actresses, you are on your way to solving this image's title.
  • X52 is Whistling in the Dark. I just auctioned this very card recently!

     X53
A very effective thriller up next.
  • X53  Scream of Fear (1961)

    X53  Scream of Fear (1961)
    Correct.

For the original country of origin U.K. release this Hammer Production film was titled Taste Of Fear.

What is a little different here with this Columbia Pictures release is that in this case Australia went with the U. S.A., and not the British title which normally would have occurred.

     I can recommend this film

  •  X54
    What about this one then?
  • Pharoh's Curse
  • jayn_j said:
    Pharoh's Curse
    Correct for X54. Pharaoh's Curse from 1957.

  •  X55
I am thinking that this film image shouldn't be too difficult to identity.
