Happy 2026! (Jan-Feb-March-April)

Show us what santa brought you!

I recently bought a collection from a movie theater (100 posters) over the holidays.  Even had a Thing OS in it.  Weird didn't know those kinda lots were still out there.  I'll snap some pictures soon.

  • I know my wife would be happy if I did send em your way! 😀
  • I framed up three of them that were in pretty good condition for my shop and show last week. I recently took over my Dad’s antique shop. There are two big shows and two smaller shows a year.

Here are three more frame ups (not from the purchase) from my hobby biz frame shop:

  • looking great

  • Very nice Wild Bunch. Peckinpah at his absolute best. Although I prefer Cross of Iron.
  • And a rare Australian title I've been after for a while.
  • Woah! This looks like one of those film my wife turns her head to me afterwards and goes WTF - might have to watch it tonight.
  • Snowtown is based on a very grisly true story.
  • Snowtown is a great film...performances from the two leads were amazing.

Must have had a tiny release here...I dunno why the posters are so scarce
  • Great designs.
  • wonderful. It's much smarter to buy fewer better titles rather than bits and pieces (like I do!)
  • Nice little haul Rick.
  • Some posters recently acquired in a collection:

  • Some of the lobby cards from complete sets to single cards:

  • Well done Sean. Some absolute gems, especially the Russia with Love, Third Man and Dial M.
  • Fantastic selection and some real gems...and a lot more in the background!
  • A very nice selection of impressive looking posters, so thanks for sharing them with us.  Images of Devil-Ship Pirates and City Of Fear I have never sighted previously.
  • Great looking one sheet, and we can never have enough of Elvis.
  • In my introduction to the group, I mentioned a large purchase of folded one-sheets from a collector here in the Seattle area. Here's a few of the hundreds just to give an overview of the sort of stuff I was able to score. Sorry for the sloppy photos, but the actual "ready for sale" photos are one of the projects on the list for 2026/7, so I can begin putting them into my eBay store....

One quick question: I have (2) of the Jaws poster, both in similar condition. Should I look into restoration & backing if I want to get the most return? Or is that something that wouldn't bring enough of a return to justify the expenditure?

ing them on my eBay store at some point in the near future.

    Anything of particular interest?

If you check out Bruce's eMoviePoster.com website for all the numerous same design Jaws U.S.A, one sheets you will see that this poster sells very well folded in its original state. Allowing though for the cost for restoration/linen backing of the posters it certainly appears this is where you will receive the much higher return if you decide on this option.
  • If you haven't already done so, check out eMoviePoster.com as it will be a great price guide for you once you start to sell posters on line.
