Just a quick update on the 30x40 frames. They're painted and ready to go, but I've only completed one poster project so far, as I've got a few more quads on the way and one of 'em is going in the other frame I picked up. Here's how it turned out (so…

We're still hanging in there down here in the mid-southeast of the good ol' US of A. Covid is seemingly raging in the US, with a fatality every thirty seconds or so, or at least that's what they're reporting. Thankfully the two of us have stayed hea…

*WARNING* Only proceed further because of severe insomnia, or the kind of literary boredom that makes one read the back of a shampoo bottle while using the restroom.

"Maybe Burton telekinetically made me buy this from beyond the grave?"
I'm blaming all my past and future poster purchases on this phenomenon. Brilliant!
Definitely an interesting batch o' 10. Trailing The Killer is cool, but h… -
Maybe you should add a tad more to that half empty glass. Turn that frown upside down.

Looks like there's probably a nice selection to look through.

Thanks! It seems like it's easier to find a wall that will accommodate 84-ish inches horizontally than it is to find one that will fit a 3 sheet without covering things like switches and outlets. I have another 3 sheet frame ready to go, but nowhere…

Cripes, how did I miss the 3 sheets? Wowie!

Nice buncha contemporary ones, Ves! Nicely scored.
And, MK, undoubtedly the awesomer Matt, answers those with a color-spl… -
This post will not even make it into the top 20 most interesting things you read today, but it is a reminder that shopping in second hand/thrift/charity/whatever stores does pay off occasionally. We were out running some errands yesterday and popped…

Thanks, man. You're very kind.

Is it exploitation? Is it SEXploitation? Is it cinematic crap?? You be the judge (for yourself - don't damage my super fragile sense of self poster worth). Kidding of course. Fire away. This post is half actual cinema stuff and half complete fabrica…

Holy WOW! The Museum Of Modern Art in NYC has got nothing on the hallowed halls of the Babic museum. Nicely done.

That bit o' trivia is on IMDB, but they also chat about it in the AIP doc, It Conquered Hollywood! The Story Of American International Pictures.

I think The Fast and the Furious is one of those that fell into public domain, so it should be easy to track down on some streaming channel - probably even YouTube - should you find yourself desperate enough for programming. Not a bad movie, but def…

LONDON CALLING! IT'S QUADRATASTIC! IT'S CINEMALICIOUS! IT'S - well, it's not that exiting, really. I'm getting irresponsibly poorer by the day, and the posters keep coming. HOWEVER, since I've dragged you to the edge of your seat(s), and I certainly…

Ginger! Va va VOOM! Matinee sign is a great compliment too. Well done.

(Quote) I can't tell if that's a compliment or savageness.
-
Thanks, Chris. The quote on the lexan for 40x60 is $75, now I gotta get a quote on the frame sections. What ever happened to just putting posters up on the wall with tacks? Ugh.

Cool poster, Chris. I think I knew the caricature of Edward G Robinson from Looney Tunes way before I knew it was based on a character from movies.

What?? He's back again? OH HELL YES. It's hump day, so it's time to GET MY FREAK ON, er, poster-wise that is. Sorry for any disturbing visual that may have unintentionally created. Anyhow, per usual, you won't be finding the need to track down a pen…

Just to keep up to date with recent acquisitions, here's the two latest. One car geek-y, one explotation-y, and they'll be able to compliment posters I have for the respective titles.

Thanks, Ves. Not surprisingly, my part of it is supplying, framing and hanging the posters (and hanging the ephemera too). The rest of it is pretty much Kim. She enjoys decorating and really has an eye for it. I think if storefronts and window dress…

Thanks for the kind words, more awesome-r Matt! I wish I were talented enough to make stuff like that, but alas, I am not. I'm sure that was sourced from Amazon by the missus. There's also a clock that looks like an old film projector that showed up…

This thread understandably doesn't get a lot of action, as I don't take many pics, but since there are 8 of these photos, I didn't figure I should clog up the recent hangings thread with 'em. As mentioned in my other thread, the living room recently…

Grab your handkerchief or box of facial tissues, as this is the last and shortest installment of recent acquisitions to get back up to date. To be sure, more tears will flow from happiness that I'm caught up and you won't be subjected to daily posts…

Thanks, Lawrence. It’s arguably better art/layout than the other formats.

It's not one that I'm fanatical about getting, it would just be a good companion for the Bertha/Gaga one I bought that wasn't printed. I'll still keep an eye out though.

There was one on ebay a month or two back that the seller claimed was recalled/banned, but at the time, I didn't know that there were potentially two versions. That one had a couple scratches on it, one being on her face, so I wasn't super intereste…
