Facebook are doing some sort anniversary thing, showing you the images you posted 2 years ago, I had a look - not much, mostly pets pics and these two, which made me laugh. WTF was I thinking!
Not sure how many of you Aussie's follow golf, but at the U.S. Open outside Seattle, Washington, Aussie Jason Day, suffering from vertigo after his 2nd round Friday, and through most of Saturday's round is tied for the lead! We'll see how Sunday's round goes!
any scotch/whiskey drinkers on the forum?..looking for something that's got a good sweetness to it..but really not sure what to buy too many...was thinking the Glenfiddich 15 year old.. Where my palate is at sherry is too sweet but some of the Whiskey's I've tried are too dry/smokey...need something in between!
Sven. Not sure if you've drank a lot of Scotch or Whiskey, but IMO they are two very different drinks. For Scotch i go with Macallan 12 or my favorite, Dalwhinnie. For whiskey, I usually prefer a bourbon: Four Roses has a about 4 good choices. But you can never go wrong with Makers Mark.

Thanks all for the tips! I have literally drank 1 whiskey in my life! It was at a local tasting and it put me off, but after more reading I think I just tried something that was all smoke/peat and turned me off. But after further exploring I'm thinking there must be one for me. Did not know that about Scotch or Whiskey but after a quick search they are different..but both are still Whiskey..interesting! I'll have to give some more a go.
Don't touch the stuff myself (Rum drinker), however my neighbour drinks only single malt so I keep a bottle of Gelnfiddich in the cupboard, it OK apparently - I had a sniff once, it removed the hairs from my nostrils...

Mmmm, we'll I'll have to give Rum a go as a taster ...which one ?
I drink both scotch (single), whiskey, bourbon, and blended... I drink it neat, no ice. The old reliable is Glenlivet 12... I bought an expensive naradura (sp) - it will knock you on your ass. I like Johnny Walker Black. Best tasting bourbon is Jim Beam Devil's Cut... That will put hair on your chest but you will like it... Maker's a close second - you can sweeten it with ginger-ale. Crown Royal with coke. Jack Daniels to keep the buzz going but keep the indigestion to a minimum. Never Jack first... It have dabbled with Knob Creek but it is shit as is Chevas IMO. You can pull off a cheap buzz with decent taste going Cutty Sark... Cutty's Prohibition is good stuff.
The "Swing" suggestion is because it is sweeter than most... It is also hard to find.

Yes, I'm cursing the fact I picked up quite a few right now that I have happy snap, log and find a home for them. ARGH!
There are actually some really nice ones out there for aussie films, better than the theatrical ones even.
I don't collect German paper , but stumbled across this, thought it was quite nice, I liked the artwork with Rio in the background
