Tree came with a video too

  • Great video! =D> nice job by your wife I'm guessing?! Music was Patsy Cline? That's gonna be a hard one to top!
  • "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"  recorded by Brenda Lee in 1958 at age 13.

Released the single in both 1958 and again in 1959, it did not do well until Lee became a popular star in 1960 when it peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart. It continued to sell well during subsequent holiday seasons, going as high as No. 3 on Billboard's Christmas Singles chart in December 1965. It got to No 6 in the UK Charts, when it was released there in 1963, in 2013 due to downloads it became one of a number of songs to re-enter the UK Singles Chart near Christmas it reached No 63 in December 2013.

And no, that wasn't my wife, it was the Christmas Tree Fairy.
    :x

Nice! -guess the voice sounded a little young to be Cline during the 50s. Your knowledge of Mrs. Lee's chart climb gives me the idea your a bit of a music historian?! \:D/ ---I saw that your a U2 fan? Have you seen them in concert? I'm aging myself but i was fortunate enough to see them 4 times in 1987 for the Joshua Tree! They were...on top of their game...need to pick up a Rattle and Hum poster one of these...

I wiki'd Miss Lee, I likes me music but the knowledge doesn't run that deep. ;) No I have never seen U2 in concert, good as they were my musical heroes come from the 70s: Lou Reed, Bowie, Queen, Roxy Music, Split Enz, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues ...
