  • Lovely posters Reg
  • Great looking DB's! I'm guessing you sent them to a quality restoration expert to be backed cause the Notoriuos title isn't painted bright red! :-O ----if you don't mind, who do you send your paper too?
  • A couple that arrived the other day.

These are Aussie one sheets (from Heritage? I believe too)
  • Oops! Perspective of picture made them look smaller. My bad. :-B
  • Cheers guys. Yes that's correct Chris, won both these posters at heritage's most recent signature auction. It was my first time bidding there, as I dislike BPs. In saying that I couldn't resist when these two came up! Was a little hefty on the wallet after the currency conversion and AU customs stamp duty fee but I had put all of that into consideration before hand and I am very happy with the posters I received. Although I did find HA's dispatch department very very slow, as it took them nearly a month to ship the posters out after they had received payment.

HA is shocking when it comes to postage, unbelieveably so.
  • A month is pretty quick by their standards.
  • They also do Pay n Hold, like Bruce, but Bruce sends a reminder after about 6 weeks to us overseas collector types that its time to take possession of it. I've had something with HA since July(ish), not heard from them and I forgot about it until just recently, I am betting when I ask for it it will be lost.
  • Cheers Craig. Some nice daybills you got there, congrats.

Really? What's the longest it took to receive items of yours from them?

It's been years since I've purchased off them, but I clearly remember I wasn't a happy camper at the time.
  • Part of my 70s collection...image
  • A few tape stains, but otherwise in good condition & worth the $10...image

In some countries, you'd be charged with theft!   ;)
  • Thanks, I had just bought mine when i saw Chalie's post of his 30x40. It's my first Eastwood...looking for more! Been lookin at photobustas-great images for decent prices. :)>-
  • Well done Mark, great pick-ups and most excellent price for the Clint
  • Didn't ever think this would come up for sale...  The bitch of it was there were two others (another liz and an Audrey that sold for $790) that I never thought I would see in my lifetime...  But I poured it on and scored my best still ever!  The iconic (from a Place in the Sun promo) pool shot with those unforgettable eyes...

  • Unique indeed! =D> ------great image!
  • She was quite the looker in her day...
  • Did you say something Charlie?  @-) @-)
  • Got me (actually Charlie got it :)>- ) this amazing argentinean daybill (!!) for MY LADY'S PAST (1929)

  • That is very cool Matias, love the colours and the period style!

Does look a bit like long aussie daybills, doesn't it? That's why I made the name up.

    Size is 14 x 29.5
  • One third of an argentinean one sheet. Maybe I should call them argentinean onethird sheet?

  • Argentinean daybill works for me...Aussie daybills were getting lonely being the only players in the game
  • Artwork on faces is great! Nice acquisition!
  • That's what that is...  I took a picture to post on the 12th.  Never made it to the forum!
