Here is the picture of my recent acquisition. Dr. Who & The Daleks 1965 3 Sheet Linen-Backed, restored, and framed. Hardest poster in my collection to track down.
Yes for the U.K. the British Quads of Dr. Who and the Daleks and Daleks Invasion of Earth 2150 A.D. for the two Peter Cushing films are some of the best artwork you will ever see on posters. The U.S. posters are terrible in my opinion. The British 3 sheet I have in some ways is even better than the quad, but the quad has extra artwork just to the other side of the Dalek that extends his firing with more computers. The quad also suffers from having alot of writing over the artwork which makes the 3 sheet a better choice in my opinion. The U.K. posters are very hard to come by I searched for over 5 years before getting the both the quad for Daleks Invasion of Earth 2150 A.D. and the 3 sheet for Dr. Who & the Daleks. Simon Dwyer currently has a 1 sheet and 3 sheet available for Daleks Invasion of Earth 2150 A.D for the U.K. release. http://www.simondwyer.com/Page-2-25 while not as good as the quad in my opinion it is essentially the same artwork
I can buy more from Europe and Australia now. The dollar is getting so close to the euro. And heck the Australian dollar is almost making shipping reasonable! Still going to send my auction haul to Matt though, OK David.
Kelly mags are very nice; can you steam off the labels?
They are not put on with water-based glue. It is almost like the consistency of hot glue. The label will come off but then you have the glue still on the mag. I was able to get it off using nail polish remover but that will remove the image. Since it is just red I might have to experiment. I planned to back the covers similar to the Collier's cover.
