I thought 7k for the vertigo one sheet was a little on the high side given the condition of very good Re "The orange color has been enhanced. Very Good+ on Linen." Does this mean that the orange was airbrushed orange or there is another technique to enhance color?
I'd say that means there was a lot of airbrushing. Very Good + is one of the lower grades for Heritage. Linen backers say that Vertigo one sheets can be the most time consuming to restore particularly when the orange has faded a bit.
"Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase Australian Daybill sold for $573.60 at Heritage Auctions today. The left side--hard to see in the image here, had some staining on it up and down on the left side visible in the larger auction photo, possibly water stain, not sure, so I did not bid on it"
