I was just notified that I was selected as the National (US) Society of Professional Engineers 'Young Engineer of the Year'... I was excited after winning Texas but am floored with the national honor... I mentioned the forum on the national application - I am sure that is what put me over the top!!!!
I don't know how telling the judges about the people -and I use the term loosely- you hang out with in this forum helped to win the first place, but congrats anyways Charlie! ^:)^
Charlie, that's really cool. To beat out the best of the best...I think I read where you've been to Australia before? My mom & sister live in West Seattle and my brother lives in Queen Anne (adjacent to downtown Seattle). I've visited many times, mostly in summer, GREAT place to visit! The food, weather, parks, cultural activities...you'll really enjoy it! \m/
